Putting A Zip In A Cushion Cover. Center the zipper along the center line, keeping the two halves snug to each other. Make a couple of back stitches at the beginning then sew the zipper down.
Pin in place and, using a zipper foot, stitch. Open out the joined panels and lay right side down. Fold under 1½” on the top half of the back of the cushion cover.
This is a quick diy project. Turn the cushion through the zip opening. Place the top back cushion fabric wrong side down on a flat surface.
